Last night, I went over to my good friend Celina’s house. She and her fiancée have a bulldog named Chico. Chapeau and Chico became fast friends, and it was funny seeing Chapeau trying to climb all over Chico’s face. But when Chico had had enough of Chapeau’s shenanigans, he barked a loud one and scared him off. Ha ha! These two were a deathly adorable sight playing together.

Yay to new friends!

I was shooting for Sparknotes.com this afternoon and Chapeau wanted to be in every photo. I would sit him down to play with his bone but he would just run back over to the backdrop and plop down in my lap! So here we are: Chapeau’s official modeling debut!

Today was Chapeau’s first day on the town. I dropped off some film to be developed, and shopped for a while in the East Village. Though I held him most of the time, Chapeau got to walk around for a bit and met my friends.

It was really hard to get more than a block without someone stopping us to pet Chapeau. He is so adorable and irresistable!

Chapeau has been coming out with me to run short errands and check the mail. He’s learning really quickly with his leash training! He walks well, but he is tiny so it’s not hard to guide him.

He likes to switch side when we’re walking often, but other than that he’s doing great. He sniffs around a little bit, but doesn’t try and eat anything funny. This is good for now, but I wonder if he’ll get more adventurous as he gets outside more..
